School Council News

School Council – The École Westhaven Elementary School Parent Information Facebook Page has been in effect for two years. We are hoping that everyone finds it a useful outlet for information on what is happening at the school and with the Parent School Council.  As a reminder, this page is setup to provide information on the school council programs and upcoming events and is intended to be used as an information sharing only page. Any questions or concern regarding students, teachers and the school must go through the school office. You may also contact the school council anytime via email at whpc@gypsd.ca. If you haven’t done so already, please like our page to keep informed.

The school council organizes fundraisers throughout the year to help with various programs and costs that we provide and are responsible for, including the snack and hot lunch programs, playground maintenance, agendas for all students and to subsidize field trips for the school that the Walk-A-Thon does not cover.  

If you have any questions or concerns or are interested in other ways you can help support these school programs, please feel free to contact the school council at the above noted email address or join us at the next School  Council meeting which will be held on Monday, February 4,  2019 at 7:00 pm in the school library.
